📅 TRACK YOUR CYCLE
Know Your Flow & Understand Your Body
💜 Why Tracking Matters
Tracking your period helps you understand your body better.
It can show you:
when your next period might start
how long your cycle usually is
when cramps or mood changes happen
what’s normal for you
when to pack your hygiene kit or carry extra pads
Tracking your cycle = learning your body’s rhythm.
📝 Step-by-Step Guide to Track Your Period
1️⃣ Mark Day 1
Day 1 is the first day you see blood, even if it’s light spotting.
Write down:
Month
Day
How heavy or light it was
2️⃣ Track Each Day of Your Period
Every day, note if your flow is:
🔴 light
🔴 medium
🔴 heavy
Or you can use emojis:
🌸 Light
🌺 Medium
🌹 Heavy
This helps you understand your pattern.
3️⃣ Count the Days Between Periods
After your period ends, count the days until your next one begins.
Most cycles are:
24–35 days long
They may change each month, especially when you’re young
This is normal.
4️⃣ Pay Attention to Your Symptoms
Write down how you feel:
😩 Cramps
😊 Mood changes
😴 Tired
😭 Emotional
🍫 Food cravings
🤒 Tender breasts
💧 Bloating
This helps you understand what your body does every month.
5️⃣ Spot Your “Pattern”
After tracking for 2–3 months, you’ll start to see a pattern.
You may notice:
Your period comes around the same time
You feel tired a few days before
You get cravings around week 3
You get cramps on Day 1
This is your body's way of talking to you.
📱 Use a Period Tracker App (Optional)
These apps make tracking easy:
Clue
Flo
Spot On
Period Calendar
Apple Health (iPhone users)
Just open, tap, and your cycle is saved.
💗 Cycle Tip:
Always keep 2–3 pads, wipes, and an extra pair of underwear in your backpack — just in case.
Your period is part of you, and being prepared helps you feel confident.
